In order to get a full representation of the rail sector in Europe, INESS has been conceived as a plurilateral & international project. It involves 30 partners across Europe including international railway organisations as well as rail research specialised universities and railway track industry suppliers.
The coordination is under the responsibility of the UIC (International Union of Railways).
